About Me

I’m Phil and I was born in 1960. I live with my wife just outside Reading, in West Berkshire, England.

I first became interested in photography in the late 1970’s, but it wasn’t until 1981 when I got my first ‘real camera’, a Pentax ME Super that I started to believe photography and I had a future together.

Time moves and it wasn’t until 2012 that I stumbled on the wonderful world that is ‘model photography’

Hopefully my photography continues to develop and grow,  aided in no small part by the amazing models it has been my pleasure to work with. I still consider I have a lot to learn and firmly believe in the adage you never stop learning.

Unfortunately I still have to work for a living so my time dedicated to chasing that elusive ‘great image’ is somewhat limited. This of course means I am considered to be a part-time amateur photographer.

I have a real passion for all types of photography and over the years have tackled most genres. My favourite without a doubt is photographing people, especially the stunningly beautiful models it has been my good fortune to meet and work with more recently.

My photography has enabled me to make some good friends amongst fellow photographers and studio owners as well as some of the most beautiful, interesting and most professional models you could ever hope to meet.

I strive to continually improve and search for every opportunity to do just that. I can’t be satisfied just taking ‘photographs’ I aspire to create great images. Only time will tell if I achieve my goal.

If you have anything to say, want to provide feedback on my images or this website, or maybe even want to model for me then please don’t hesitate to get in touch via my contact page as I’d love to hear from you.

For me photography is a passion, an art, a dedication.
